Destination:
The separator for electrofilters is a mechanical connection device that, for security reasons, ensures in the "open" position a predetermined isolation distance between the terminals of each pole. It is used to open or close (establish) a circuit, when a current of negligible intensity is interrupted (or established) and when there is no voltage at the terminals of each pole of the separator.
It is used for electrical dust removal installations (electrofilters).

Depending on the number of fixed poles and the number of grounding poles, separators for electrofilters are classified into:
• Separators with current paths and grounding paths that have the role of opening or closing a circuit with respect to the ground.
• Separators only with current paths that have the role of opening or closing one or more circuits by switching.
Separators for electrofilters are of the type of rotary separators, where the mobile part of the current path rotates in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the isolators' axes.
It is installed in a vertical plane by attaching it to the wall with 2 M12 screws.
The separators are made up of the following main parts:
socket
• an isolator with a moving contact (rotating pole)
• one or more insulating assemblies with fixed contact
• one or two grounding contacts
• microswitches
• actuation electromagnet (for T 08)

Remote manual actuation, with gall chain, by means of a chain wheel. The gall chain and intermediate actuation parts are not delivered.
