Cables with insulation and reticulated polyethylene jacket
for photovoltaic installations

Product description

1 Flexible tinned copper conductor, class 5, according to EN 60228
2 Insulation: halogen-free crosslinkable compound with low smoke emission, according to SR EN 50618, Annex B
3 Outer coat: crosslinkable compound without halogens and with low smoke emission, resistant to UV radiation,
according to SR EN 50618, Annex B
Available colors: red, black

The cables are intended for use in photovoltaic systems for connections between
connection boxes and inverters.
The cables can also be pictured outside. They will not be installed buried directly in the ground.

Nominal AC voltages: U0/U=1.0/1.0 kV
Nominal DC voltages: U0/U= 1.5/1.5 kV
U0 – the voltage (effective value) between a conductor and the ground
U – the voltage (effective value) between two conductors
AC test voltage: 6.5 kV 50 Hz, 5 minutes, in water
Maximum temperature allowed on the conductor:
◼ in permanent mode: 90 oC
◼ in overload mode: 120 oC
◼ for short circuit (max. 5 s): 250 oC
Minimum temperature of the cable (measured on the sheath):
◼ when installing: – 20 oC
◼ in operation: – 40 oC
Minimum radius of curvature: 6 x outer diameter
The cables are flame retarded: they correspond to the flame test according to SR EN 60332-1-2.
The cables are halogen-free:
– pH: ≥4.3
– conductivity: ≤10 µS/mm
The cables have reduced smoke emission when burning:
– light permeability: ≥60 %
