Power cables with insulation and PVC jacket for nominal voltage U0/U=0.6/1 kV

The specified products and their possible acceptable variants described in the INSEMEX Notice also comply with the specified requirements regarding the prevention of explosion hazards: SR EN ISO/ IEC 80079-34:2020, SR EN 60079-14:2014/AC:2016.

Cables with fire retardant propagation delay are intended for use in fixed electrical installations in zone 1 and zone 2 (group II G – flammable gases, vapors, mists), in compliance with the design, execution, installation and operation conditions for electrical installations in the zone with explosion hazard given by the manufacturer and in accordance with the requirements of SR EN 60079-14.

Product description

1 Copper or aluminum single-wire class 1 or multi-wire class 2 conductor, according to SR EN 60228
2 PVC insulation
3 Extruded or banded joint sheathing
4 Reinforcement of galvanized (Abz) or ungalvanized (Ab) steel strips
5 PVC outer sheath

The cables are intended for the use of electricity in fixed electrical installations.
Cables reinforced with a conductor are not intended for use in alternating current.

Product standard: SF 9 IPROEB
Standard reference: SR CEI 60502-1
Rated voltage: Uo/U (Um) = 0,6/1 (1,2) kV
Minimum temperature of the cable (measured on the sheath):

– at assembly : +5 °C
– during exploitation: -33 °C

The maximum temperature allowed on the conductor under normal operating conditions: +70 °C
Test voltage: 3,5 kV, 50 Hz, 5 min
Minimum bending radius during installation:

15 x cable diameter with one conductor
12 x cable diameter with more conductors

The cables are flame retarded according to SR EN 60332-1-2
Cables which have F symbol have increased propagation delay according to SR EN 60332-3-24.
Meaning of conductor symbols:

ru – single-core round conductor (class 1)
rm – multi-core round conductor (class 2)
su – single-core sector conductor (class 1)
sm – multi-core sector conductor (class 2)

On request, cables with flexible copper conductors (class 5) can be made
