Destination:

The low-voltage distribution box is intended for equipping transformer stations in aerial assembly PTA 16-250KVA, 6-20/0.4KV, with the possibility of mounting on 1 or 2 poles.

Example of order method: CD 1.4 – 250 kVA = distribution box mounted on a pole, with four departures to subscribers, transformer power 250 kVA

Features:

• supporting and protecting the connection devices, handling and measure necessary for the distribution of electricity to consumers
• ensuring the operating conditions of the posts on the pole, without protection fuses on the medium voltage side
• eliminates the deficiencies that may appear in the distribution of energy to consumers, having high technical-functional performances

Constructive characteristics:

The distribution box is made of metal construction from pickled or galvanized sheet metal and painted in an electrostatic field, provided with 3 access doors, 2 sides blocked from the inside and one in front with special locks.

In the upper and/or lower part, the box is provided with metal studs made of steel pipe. These allow the connection of both the power column and the cable outlets to the consumers.

The distribution box can also be executed in a polyester case reinforced with fiberglass.

The electrical equipment with which the box is equipped is arranged inside as follows:
• on one of the sides, the main switch, the public lighting control devices (if applicable) and the three-phase and single-phase energy measuring meters are mounted on the support;
• on the other side are the MPR fuses or vertical separators, allowing the connection of each phase separately, constituting the departures to the consumers.

The number and type of devices differ depending on the variant / basic variants considering the power of the transformer.

The connections between the main switch and the departures to consumers are made with distribution bars for PTA 160-250 KVA or with flexible conductor for PTA 16-100 kVA.

Mounting and connecting:

The distribution box is located in the area of ​​the overhead transformer station, on the same pole on which the transformer is mounted.
The box is fastened in three points with the help of collars. The optimal mounting height is 0.7 m from the ground. The connection of the box to the transformer is made with a cable sized according to the nominal current and will be protected with PVC tubes, of suitable diameter, to ensure the sealing of the inlet nozzles.
The consumers are connected to the box with a cable, their output can be in the upper part (overhead cable output) or lower (underground cable output)
